About Kenken International Championship

KenKen is the world's fastest growing, most played, and most popular math and logic puzzle in the world. Syndicated in over 150 newspapers worldwide, with over 1 million puzzle books sold, and used as a teaching tool by over 30,000 teachers, KenKen is truly a worldwide phenomenon. Each year, KenKen Puzzle Company sponsors a tournament that brings together some of the best KenKen players throughout the United States, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, India and many other countries across the globe to compete for the title of International KenKen Champions.

This year's KenKen International Championship will be ALL-ONLINE and participants from ALL AGE GROUPS can participate in the OPEN CATEGORY.

Steps to be a Kenken World Champion

Registration

All age puzzlers (students/parents/teachers) are eligible to register in the “Open category” of the International Round of KIC 2021. One-time registration fee of USD 100 only.

Preparation

After registration, you get access to the practice portal and free Ebooks to practice the puzzles online.

International Competition

You will compete online through the portal, with other participants in the open category. The competition will be held on 18 Dec 2021. Please refer to the details of the rounds below.

Winners Announcement

Winners will be announced on the day of the competition during a virtual ceremony. Participants will receive further details to collect their physical awards post the competition.

    Registrations are now completely online and you can directly register at our website, by paying the one-time registration fee of USD 100.

  • When will It take Place?

    International Round will be conducted on Saturday 18 December 2021.

  • How to attend the competition?

    The competition will be online through the Kenken Online Portal. Login details will be shared soon after registration.

  • How to prepare?

    After registration, you get access to the practice portal and free Ebooks to practice the puzzles online. You may also book additional preparation classes or ebooks for enhanced preparation.

  • What are the rewards and recognition offered at each stage?
    • The Champion of Champions gets a Trophy, Certificate of excellence, and other exciting prizes
    • The Round 3 Winners get a Trophy and a Certificate of Achievement
    • The Round 2 Winners get a Gold Medal and a Certificate of Recognition
    • The Round 1 Winners get a Silver Medal and a Certificate of Participation
    • The Round 1 Participants get a Bronze Medal and a Certificate of Participation
    • *A participant will receive a medal and certificate for the last level that he/she qualifies. Thus, he/she will receive only one medal/trophy and one certificate in the Championship.
  • How to receive the awards?

    The awards can be collected from our Dubai office, couriered to a home address or sent to the school, if the school is officially registered in the Championship.
